10th of February, 1943 · Krasny Bor, Leningrad Oblast. 250th Infantry Division "Blue Division". February 1943; the Red army goes offensive in the Leningrad region. Operation "polar star" aims to encircle the German 18th army. One of its goals is to take Tosno, following the road and railroad, both leading straight through Krasny Bor.Krasny Bor is at the centre of attention in this mission. The initial attack is met by the Spanish Blue Division, who have dug in a handful of AT guns and a few artillery pieces at the village. With enemies approaching from all sides, this battle will be a serious test of your improvisation skills. Hold your position until it is time to counterattack!
